Barbados Water Authority (BWA) customers in Ellerton, St George, and surrounding areas may be impacted by low pressure or water outages for several hours on Sunday as a connection is to be made for a new storage tank.

The BWA says work will commence around 9 a.m. and continue through 5 p.m.

Customers are asked to store an adequate supply of water to assist.

This work will also impact on traffic in the area.

Motorists travelling in a north-easterly direction along Highway 4, approaching from the area of Bulkeley Plantation will be asked to turn right at Ellerton playing field and then turn left at the Brighton junction.

To resume travelling along Highway 4, motorists should turn left at the entrance to Grand View Cliff and then right to continue onto Highway 4.

The BWA apologises for any inconvenience this work may cause. (PR/SAT)
