The Barbados Police Service is appealing to members of the public to help identify the man who was shot and killed at Castle Heights, St Philip, on Thursday night.

“We have yet to formally identify the deceased in this incident. We are of the opinion that the immediate family, relatives or friends of this man may not be aware as yet that he is missing,” said public affairs and communications officer, acting inspector Rodney Inniss.

The man appears to be in his 20s and was driving a white Mazda motor car bearing “P” registration number plates.

He was fatally shot around 9:50 p.m.

Anyone who thinks they may be able to identify this individual can do so by contacting the District C Police Station 416-8200 or Oistins Police Station 418-2612 to make arrangements to view his body.

Police are promising strict confidentiality on all information surrounding this incident and that can be shared by calling Police Emergency 211 or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 8477 (TIPS).  (PR/SAT)
