Police have identified the man shot dead while in a vehicle at Castle Heights, at its junction with Eastbourne main Road, St Philip on September 1, 2022, as Kyle Mario Roger Mayers,27, of Rices St. Philip.

He was identified by a family member at the funeral home where his body has been kept.

Police reported that around 9:50 pm last Thursday, a number of loud gunshots were heard before a motorcar travelling along the roadway ran off the carriageway, striking some shrubbery in a garden located in the front of a residence.

On responding to the scene, lawmen said they were pointed to the vehicle, and inside was the body of an adult male slump motionless in the driver’s seat.
