Minister of Sport Charles Griffith says he expects Barbadians to come out in droves at today’s heroes motorcade for sporting stars – Sada Williams, Jonathan Jones, Shane Brathwaite, and Amber Joseph.

Griffith said government was delighted to celebrate the foursome who have delivered stellar performances all season.

“They fully deserve this treat,” he said. “Everything is on stream for what should be a memorable afternoon. All of those who are free and available should come out and show their appreciation for what was done on the world stage.”

The welcome has been organised by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment; the National Sports Council, and the Barbados Olympic Association (BOA).
