Police questioning man over dog ‘abuse’

Police have held a man for questioning in relation to a report that he drowned a dog on Tuesday at Pebbles Beach in St Michael – but no charges have been laid yet.

A video clip of the incident circulated on social media networks on Wednesday and officers at the Hastings-Worthing station launched an official investigation.

Police said the incident, which was recorded by a visitor, happened about 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
