Barbados Royals set a target of 162

Barbados Royals have given the Jamaica Tallawahs a target of 162 runs for victory in the final of the 2022 Hero Caribbean Premier League at the National Stadium in Providence, Guyana.

Winning the toss and electing the bat first, the Royals were helped to a moderate total compliments a half-century from Pakistani batsman Azam Khan (51 off 40).
Openers Rahkeem Cornwall and Kyle Mayers scored 36 and 29, respectively.

For the Tallawahs, Fabian Allen (3-24) and Nicholson Gordan (3-33) were the pick of the bowlers, helping to restrict the Royals to 161-7. (AGB)
