The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has taken the Bowmanston Station offline to avoid discoloured water entering the network as a result of the heavy rainfall the island is experiencing.

Customers in the parts of St George and St John may be affected by water outages or low pressure.

In St John: Bath Land, Carters, Cherry Grove, Cheshire, Cliff Cottage, Coach Hill, Codrington, Gall Hill, Lemon Arbor, Massiah Street, Pool Land, Sargeant Street, Sherbourne, Henley, Rose Gate, Moores Land, Haynes Hill,  Stewart Hill, Society Hill, Small Hope, Spooners, Welch Village and surrounding areas.

In St George: Glebe, Guinea Land, Macaroni Village, Ashbury, Wakefield Tenantry and surrounding districts.

Water tankers have been dispatched to assist customers in the affected areas.  The BWA apologises for any inconvenience caused. (BWA)
