Fed up that his charge had allegedly reverted to his cocaine-fuelled ways and was spurning all attempts to assist him, a surety yesterday begged the court to allow him to withdraw his bail so that Patrick Bruce DaSilva could get some help.

But the surety was informed that he could not withdraw unless DaSilva was present.

“I will help the police find him because I know where he is. I know which hole he is in but we need to pull that wheel and let we get that boy back in prison before he go out there and get somebody killed or gets himself in trouble. But I would like you all help with that,” the surety told the court.

The man had signed as the $1 500 surety for DaSilva after he had appeared in the District “A” Traffic Court in July. (HLE)
