An eyewitness told the No. 3 Supreme Court yesterday that he was a mere few feet away from an altercation which led to the death of Mark Walton eight years ago.

The witness testified that he was standing at a bus stop moments before the incident involving Walton, and murder accused Romario Antonio Clarke and Rashayne Aniel Blenman.

The two men have both pleaded not guilty to murdering Walton, of Fitts Village, St James, in his home village on August 4, Kadooment Day, 2014.

According to the witness, he was at the bus stop just opposite Jordan’s Supermarket when the two accused walked up and spoke to him, and he told them they were always “vibesing”.

He added that moments after that, Walton told the men they were always around there doing foolishness. (BA)
