Engineer quizzed in Sheraton murder trial

DIGICEL’S radio frequency and transmission engineer Kevin Harding said there were three cell sites at Sheraton Mall and Oistins, both in Christ Church, and that Sheraton Centre was covered by three sectors.

He was the sole witness yesterday when the trial of Hakeem Roberto Stuart continued in the No. 3 Supreme Court.

Stuart has pleaded not guilty to murdering Damian Trotman, 32, on March 21, 2019, at Sheraton Mall, Christ Church. Trotman died after being shot in the mall’s food court.

After producing a chart with three shaded areas, labelled sectors “A”, “B” and “C”, Harding explained that sector “A” covered just above Adam’s Castle; sector “B” from the Globe Drive-In Cinema to Kendall, while “C” would cover Top Rock.  (RA)
