Three men facing drugs, firearm and ammunition charges

Two men who had their guilty pleas vacated yesterday will find out their trial date next year.

Grantley Dolar Babb, of No. 62 Lower Burney, St Michael; Stacey Terrance Richards, of No. 249 Kingsland Gardens North, Christ Church, both represented by Romain Marshall; and Landon Emmanuel Marlon Charles, of Powder Road, Station Hill, also in St Michael and represented by Andrew Pilgrim KC, are facing 14 charges.

They are accused of importing and possession of three .40 calibre pistols, a .45 calibre pistol, a 9mm semi-automatic pistol, and 23 bullets without the requisite licences.

The accused also face charges of importation, possession of, trafficking and intention to supply 232.4 kilogrammes of cannabis worth $929 000, and 6.5 kilogrammes of cocaine, worth $325 000. The offences allegedly occurred on March 20, 2018. (RA)
