Jamar Dewayne Bynoe, one of the killers in the Campus Trendz tragedy, had his application for leave to appeal his death sentence turned down by the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) yesterday.

Bynoe was one of two convicted in connection with the death of six women after the firebombing of the clothing store on Tudor Street, The City, following the robbery of the proprietor on September 3, 2010.

The women who perished in the fire were Tiffany Harding, Kellishaw Ollivierre, Kelly-Ann Welch, Shanna Griffith, Nikkita Belgrave and Pearl Cornelius. Three of the girls were employees at the boutique, while the others were customers.

Bynoe, 38, was found guilty of six counts of murder and on July 1, 2016, was sentenced to hang. (RA)
