Thousands of revellers took over Bushy Park when We Ting returned to St Philip early Sunday morning.
The highly anticipated J’ouvert jump up was one of several events scheduled as part of Imagine Weekend.
It began around 2 a.m. under the theme Bacchanal Tribe.
The participants, who mostly wore yellow in recognition of Barbados’ Independence, partied way beyond sunrise as they were doused in paint, powder and water.
Several deejays played for the duration of the event but there were also performances by entertainers Peter Ram and Alison Hinds. (TG)
