An elderly man is appealing to authorities to fix the drainage at Paddock Road, St Michael.

The 78-year-old says the area floods “as soon as the rain set up”, but it only became a problem after the road was fixed.

Earlier this week, the road again flooded “after a little bit of rain” and he was stranded in his home. He told Nation News in order to get out, he would have to go to Deighton Road and come around.

This was the condition of the road around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.   (SAT)
