Accused Shaquille Stephen Edwards said former co-accused Rashad Akeem Mathurin owned up to having the loaded gun found in the car they were in and he later swore an affidavit saying such.

This was Edwards’ defence when he appeared in the No. 4 Supreme Court.

Edwards, of 4th Avenue, Pickwick Gap, St Michael and Renaldo Omaro Griffith of Fitts Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael, are charged with having a Glock Model 17 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol and 38 rounds of ammunition in their possession on January 24, 2019.

Edwards, in his defence from the dock, told the court he knew nothing about the gun and ammunition. (HLE)
