The Barbados Meteorological Services is predicting relatively clear skies for Barbados during this Christmas weekend.

Senior meteorologist Racquel Davis said inclement weather should not be dampening the Christmas celebrations, up to Tuesday.

“It’s looking pretty okay – kind of dry, fair-weather conditions. We do expect a few showers in and out from time to time, brief night and occasional . . . . We may have a few more showers than usual around this time and on Monday night into Tuesday.”

She added that there could be an abrupt change to the weather next week but reassured Barbadians there was no need to worry.

“There is a shear line we expect to affect us but that is next week Wednesday and with the times, there is uncertainty,” Davis said. (RT)
