Sir Frank Alleyne passes

Retired economist, teacher and parliamentarian Sir Frank Alleyne has passed away. He was 84.

Sir Frank, who was knighted in November 2012, was a former chairman of the Financial Services Commisison and former dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Cave Hill Campus of The University of the West Indies.

He also chaired Government’s Economic Council.

Sir Frank leaves to mourn daughters Dawn, Franka, Shirley and Nicole.
