Pedal cyclist latest road fatality victim

Barbados has recorded its third road fatality of the year.

At about 12:39 a.m on Friday police received a report that a pedal cyclist had fallen into a ravine off the roadway at Round the Town, St. Peter. The rider appeared to be dead. On arrival Police personnel confirmed the report and spoke to ambulance personnel who were present, and they reported that on their examination, there was no sign of life.
He was later pronounced dead by a medical doctor.

He was identified at the scene by a sibling as Molyn Prince 52 years, of Central Drive, Heywoods Park, St. Peter.
