Almshouse Road closed

Waves have damaged Almshouse Road, St Peter, and it is now closed. (GP)

Almshouse Road, Speightstown, St Peter, located behind Jordan’s Supermarket, has been closed.

The Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources says the road, which lies directly on the coastline, has been severely damaged due to wave action.

It has been blocked off to prevent vehicles from traversing the road and motorists are advised to avoid that area. (PR/SAT)
