The daughter of murdered woman Marcelle Claudia Smith has described her mother’s killer as an animal who deserves nothing less than triple the maximum sentence.

Tanya Smith was speaking from the United Kingdom via Zoom yesterday, as self-confessed murderer Cheriss Ricardo Omar Ince reappeared in the No. 2 Supreme Court.

It was back in November that Ince, of Nursery No. 2, Four Roads, St Philip, pleaded guilty to the non-capital murder of 75-year-old Smith between October 12 and October 25, 2015.

Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Alliston Seale appeared for the state, while Ince was represented by attorney Safiya Moore. (HLE)
