Police say they were summoned to the scene after receiving a telephone call to the Operations Control Room about 4:55 p.m.

The caller said that a man had stabbed a number of individuals at the location and a female appeared to be dead.

On arrival, police confirmed that one woman was indeed deceased and several others were injured.
