Premier League football postponed

The Barbados Football Association (BFA) has postponed matches in the men’s Premier League competition which were scheduled to be played this weekend through February 26.

The senior national Barbados Tridents will be traveling to Grenada on Monday for a series of friendly matches in preparation for the 2023 CONCACAF Nations League and several players will be unavailable.

In the interim, the BFA will kick off the Women’s Premier League on February 26.

Barbados will play Cuba at home on Mach 3 and then travel to Antigua & Barbuda for their March 26 encounter.

As a result, the following matches have been postponed:

Brittons Hill United vs Deacons FC

St Andrew Lions vs Notre Dame

Abrahams United Silver Sands vs Weymouth Wales

Wotton FC vs Paradise

Empire vs UWI Blackbirds

UWI Blackbirds vs BDFSP

Notre Dame vs Empire
