Shooting victim dies at QEH

A 35-year-old man succumbed while being treated for gunshot injuries at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) last night.

He has been identified as Shane Harvey of Palm View Avenue, Bayville, St Michael.

Police say they received the report of a shooting incident at a shop in Luke’s Avenue, Bayville, around 8:58 p.m.

However when they responded, no one interviewed could confirm shots being heard or had knowledge of a shooting. They were later informed that a man with a gunshot injury had been presented at the QEH.

Harvey died while receiving treatment.
