The body of Lorenzo Joseph had a number of gunshot wounds, including one to the face, which caused his death.

So said consultant pathologist Dr David Gaskin when he testified in the murder trial against Anthonia Windgrove Ellis in the No. 4 Supreme Court yesterday.

Ellis, of Denny Road, Thorpes, St James, has denied murdering Lorenzo Joseph on February 16, 2019.

He is represented by Senior Counsel Michael Lashley and attorneys Sade Harris and Zudie Payne, while Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Alliston Seale and State Counsel Maya Kellman, Treann Knight and Paul Prescod are prosecuting.

Yesterday, Gaskin said he found six gunshot wounds to Joseph’s body when he performed the autopsy on February 25, 2019. (HLE)
