CPL returns to Barbados

For the first time since 2019, Barbados will be hosting matches in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 cricket tournament.

Now sponsored by Republic Bank, this year’s competition will run from August 16 to September 24, with the final again taking place in Guyana.

The historic Kensington Oval will host six matches from August 30 to September 3, the first time the Barbados Royals will play at home since the franchise was renamed from Tridents.

Daren Sammy Stadium in St Lucia, the starting venue, St Kitts & Nevis and Trinidad & Tobago will also host matches.

The final leg of the tournament will take place in Guyana with the matches running from September 13 to 24 September. The knockout stages will also be in Guyana.
