The man charged in connection with the aggravated burglary of Channell Supermarket was remanded to Dodds Prison when he appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court.

Theophilus Theo Holder, 29, of Madison Terrace, Deacons Farm, St Michael, was not required to plead to entering the Black Rock, St Michael branch of the supermarket, on April 12, and stealing $1 498.84 belonging to Channell Enterprises and at the time had a weapon of offence – a knife.

He was also not required to plead to unlawfully and maliciously wounding security guard David Alleyne.

Prosecutor Constable Ralph Rollock objected to the accused’s release on bail, as he pointed to the nature and seriousness of the offence. (HLE)
