Wales demolish Silver Sands

Former national player Romario Harewood bagged a hat-trick as Ensure Protein Max Weymouth Wales hammered Abrahams United Silver Sands 6-2 and further extended their lead at the top of the Barbados Football Association (BFA) Premier League standings.

While Wales, as expected, delivered yet another dominant performance in the nightcap encounter on Thursday, the first game ended in a 2-1 thriller to Brittons Hill against Deacons Club played at the BFA AstroTurf in Wildey.

At the moment Wales are leading the standings with 27 points and Brittons Hill trails in second position with 19, as they both look to extend and maintain their positions at the top of the league table.

In the blink of an eye, Silver Sands, at the bottom of the league standings on three points conceded their first goal of the match. (ML)
