BWA crews working on burst mains

Barbados Water Authority crews are conducting repairs to burst mains in a number of areas.

This work may cause residents in the immediate surrounding districts to be affected by low pressure or water outages.

Burst pipes have been report at Haggatts, St Andrew; Pegwell Boggs, Christ Church; Market Hill, St George; St Nicholas, St Peter; and Fortesque, St Philip.

The Authority is also carrying out repairs on a ruptured main in Haggatt Hall, St Michael that has affected customers in the Ivy, Tichbourne, St Barnabas, Mount Friendship and the immediate surrounding areas.

Once repairs are complete, residents can expect the water supply in their areas return to normal gradually. (PR/SAT)
