Barbados’ queen of surfing, Chelsea Tuach, has delivered another world-class performance, landing a silver medal yesterday at the 2023 Pan American Surfing Games (PASG) in Santa Catalina, Panama.

Competing against some of the world’s best female surfers, Tuach showed her class on the surfboard, as she not only managed to pull the second-best podium finish but also captured her second-ever silver medal at the PASG event.

“Making the final for Barbados felt very special,” Tuach told the DAILY NATION following her outstanding performance.

Tuach registered a score of 9.77 behind the overall winner Silvana Liam of Brazil with a total of 13.66 while Lucia Indurain of Argentina (9.50) was third and Sanoa Olin of Canada (7.60) was fourth.
