The Barbados Police Service says two teen girls who were reported missing are now in custody.

Tanik Jemmott and Runeka Husbands, both 14, left home on April 11 and 13, respectively.

In spite of pleas by their mothers, they did not return and were seen in videos posted on social media.

On Saturday, Griffith reminded members of the public that it was an offence to harbour them.

Police thanked members of the public for their assistance. (PR/SAT)
