Two remanded to Dodds

Two young men facing multiple joint and separate charges were both remanded to Dodds Prison.

Amir Oladele Blackman, 21 years, of River Land, St Phillip and 19-year-old Keenan Zavier Browne of Four Hill, St Peter were remanded until June 15 when they appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes on Monday.

Blackman and Browne are jointly charged with robbery and burglary on September 10, 2021 and March 16, 2023, respectively.

Blackman has been charged separately with burglary on October 2, 2022 and robbery on March 17, 2023, while Browne has been charged separately with robbery on March 3, 2023.  Those offences occurred within the District ‘C’ Station area.

In the District ‘A’ Station area, Browne has been charged separately with two counts of theft of motor car on March 5 and May 5.

Blackman has been charged separately with use of an imitation firearm to commit Robbery on May 3.

Jointly, they will have to answer charges of robbery, theft of a car and contents as well as a laptop valued at $3 500 – the property of the state – on May 3. (PR/SAT)
