Maloney finishes third in Monaco

Barbadian Zane Maloney in his latest visit to the Circuit de Monte Carlo in Monaco  finished third in yesterday’s feature race to deliver his second podium finish of the 2023 FIA Formula 2 season.

The Rodin Carlin driver was fifth on yesterday’s starting grid and added to his fifth-place finish in Saturday’s sprint with a focused and measured performance to grab the third and final podium spot and make the leap from 11th to sixth in the driver’s championship.

The season makes the quick trek to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain for the sixth round from June 2 to 4. (NM)
