The city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana will play host to its first ever international football friendly today when Honduras takes on Barbados at the BRAC Olympia Stadium at 8 p.m.

It will be the first time the sides meet in an international competition and bragging rights will be up for grabs.

The Barbados Tridents, led by head coach Orlando da Costa, snapped their 17-match winless streak in their final Concacaf Nations League group game against Antigua and Barbuda with a come-from-behind 2-1 away victory on March 26.

Da Costa’s men have not been in action since then and a new-look team will take to the field in Baton Rouge. (NM)
