The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has completed damage assessment of its facilities and most of the issues found at a few of the locations have been resolved.

Teams in the field have been able to restore pumping from all of the stations that were offline except one.

At this time, the facility supplying residents in St Lucy and some St Peter districts remains offline and restoration work continues.

Tanker crews will still assist customers without a pipe-borne supply or those experiencing low pressure in the interim.

The BWA will continue to update on this ongoing situation.    (PR)
