Flash flood watch

Share post:

A flash flood watch is in effect for Barbados until 6 a.m.

A flash flood watch is issued when heavy or excessive rainfall in a short period of time (generally less than six hours) could result in flash flooding within the watch area, but it does not mean that flooding will occur.

Outer bands from Tropical Storm Bret are generating pockets of moderate to heavy showers across the island. Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is possible over the next few hours.

This watch may be discontinued earlier if conditions warrant. (PR/SAT)
