The chattel house at Dunlow Lane, St Michael, which was damaged on Thursday by fallen trees, is still in a shattered state, but the occupants are now living elsewhere.

Cyralene Gaskin gave that update yesterday, after two trees on the Woodside Great House property toppled over a wall, blocked the street and crashed into three houses, including the one where she resided with partner Paul Calderon.

The road has since been cleared and they were relocated to Valery, Brittons Hill, St Michael.

Calderon had said they made repeated attempts to get the property owners to trim the trees but to no avail. Following the crash, one of the Woodside residents said they would do something about the situation. (TG)
