Low pressure system developing slowly

An area of low pressure located in the central Atlantic near 12N 43W remains small and disorganised, with an exposed low-level centre to the east of the deep convection.

The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) says conditions are marginally conducive for slow and limited development, therefore, a tropical depression could form in the next few days.

Regardless of development, this system is expected to track westward and move across the Eastern Caribbean during the early to mid part of next week.

There are currently no watches or warnings in effect for Barbados. (PR/SAT)
