UPDATE: Fatal shooting at Superlative

Police have identified the man who was shot and killed in an incident at Superlative, St George on Thursday night.

He is Marcus Gill, 49 years, originally from Britton’s Hill, St Michael.

Public Affairs and Communications Officer, Inspector Rodney Inniss, said they received a report of a shooting incident by an anonymous caller round 7 p.m.

At the scene, it was discovered that three men were reportedly shot and taken to the hospital for medical treatment via private transport.

It was later reported that one man had passed away at the hospital, while one was undergoing emergency surgery and the other emergency care.

People are appealing to members of the general public who witnessed or have any knowledge of the circumstances in this matter, to contact the District B Boarded Hall police station at 437-4311, police emergency 211 or Crime Stoppers Hotline 1-800-8477(TIPS).
