Revellers hit the streets for Foreday Jam

Bridgetown is fully active thanks to the thousands of revellers who are participating in the Berger Colour Shop & Kooyman Foreday Mornin’ Jam.

The festivities began just after 1 a.m. Some of the 32 bands began near Queen’s Park, while the others started by Barbados Tourism Investment Inc. car park on Bay Street.

They are expected to jam all the way to the Mighty Grynner Highway.

Many spectators have lined the streets to take in the action and there is also a heavy presence from the Barbados Police Service and Barbados Defence Force. (TG)
