The licenced firearm owner charged in connection with the Kadooment Day shooting in Black Rock, St Michael, was remanded when he appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Ondre Elvis Foster, a 32-year-old waiter of Cluffs, St Lucy, was not required to plead to one count of recklessly discharging a firearm in a public place – Black Rock Main Road – on August 7, which placed Richetta Phillips, Alisha Belgrave and Vincent Edwards in danger of death or serious bodily harm.

He was represented by attorneys Andrew Pilgrim SC and Angella Mitchell-Gittens.

Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes remanded the accused to Dodds Prison until September 11 when the accused will reappear in court. (HLE)
