Man treated after shooting incident

A 33-year-old man was taken for medical treatment after he was shot around 10 p.m. on Friday.

Police say they received a telephone call on the incident, stating that a man was on the ground at Foster Hall, St Joseph, who appeared to have gunshot injuries.

This was confirmed when officers arrived at the scene.

The man was taken away by ambulance personnel. He was listed as being in critical condition.

Police investigations are continuing. (PR/SAT)
