Man in serious condition after being shot above the eye

A 22-year-old male is listed in serious and unstable condition after sustaining a gunshot injury to the face.

Police say around 8:55 p.m. on Saturday, they received a report that the unnamed man was shot while riding a bicycle along 1st Avenue Taylor’s Gap, Hindsbury Road, St Michael.

He was shot above the right eye.

When police arrived at the scene, they discovered the victim had already been taken for medical treatment by a private vehicle.
