The man who was shot near Dover Beach, Christ Church has been identified.
Police this morning stated that he is 38-year-old Ron Shane Hackett, of Bath Land, St John.
Police reported on Thursday that they received an early morning call informing that a man was shot and appeared to be dead in the area of the kiosks near the beach.
A release from the police stated that a medical doctor visited the scene and pronounced him dead. (CM/PR)
