Richard Leron Chase said he had no idea he and the mother of his child no longer had a relationship until she told the court so yesterday.

The 47-year-old mason had earlier confessed to irritating Danielle Davis by continued and repeated acts of following her from place to place, between August 27 and 29.

Chase, a resident of Ashby Land No. 2, Christ Church, was before Magistrate Deidre McKenna in the District “B” Magistrate Court at Oistins.

According to Station Sergeant Wendell Greenidge, Chase and Davis reside in the same house and have a child together, but are no longer in a relationship. The woman is unable to move out at this time, although Chase has asked her to.

The court heard that Chase sometimes follows the woman to see where she goes and whom she is with. (SD)
