MP Rowe to stand trial

Neil Rowe, Member of Parliament for the constituency of St. Michael North West, will be facing a High court trial on a rape charge.

Just after 11:30 this morning, Magistrate Deidre McKenna sitting in the Oistins Magistrate’ Court, committed Rowe to stand trial on the allegation of unlawful sexual intercourse with a  woman on September 18, 2022.  He remains on $10 000 until the case is heard.

Rowe is being represented by Senior Counsel Ralph Thorne and Michael Lashley, while Senior Counsel Andrew Pilgrim and Kirstin Vanderpool are looking after the interest of the complainant in the matter. (SD)
