Falling debris strikes pedestrian

Debris which fell from a building on Tudor Street, The City, struck a female pedestrian on the back of the head earlier Monday.

She was assisted by people at the scene and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

The Barbados fire service was on the scene and examined the structure of the building. The road was been temporarily closed to traffic to facilitate the checks.  (PR/SAT)
