If you are prepared to grow or deal in cannabis, then be prepared to face the consequences meted out by the courts.
That was the warning from Justice Laurie-Ann Smith-Bovell yesterday as she fined self-confessed drug man Davion Levere Ricardo Miller $75 000 for growing ganja five years ago.
Miller, of Brownes Gap, Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church, was back in the No. 4 Supreme Court, after he had pleaded guilty to possession of 58.81 kilos/130 pounds of cannabis on April 26, 2017.
He also admitted having a traffickable quantity of the drug and that he cultivated it on the same date.
Miller had seven previous convictions – three for possession of cannabis, two for assault, and one each for burglary and resisting a lawman. (HLE)
