Pregnant driver in stable condition after accident

A car and an ambulance were involved in a collision in front of the Island Care Ambulance Service in Fontabelle Road, St Michael, around 11:30 a.m.

The ambulance was heading out of the premises when the incident occurred.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car, a pregnant woman, complained of back pain after the crash.

A director with Island Care attended to the driver before calling EMTs. They removed the woman from the car and into an ambulance. She was said to be in stable condition. (JRN)
