Former Premier League winner with Clayton’s Cola Tonic Notre Dame, Giancarlo Cobham, is on a mission to return his club to top-flight football after their shocking relegation to the First Division last August.

Cobham, who was appointed head coach since the departure of former coach David Ward at the end of last season, said he wants to do all he can to return his club to its former glory.

Notre Dame was one of the most successful clubs in Barbados Premier League history but finished last season with 19 points after 13 total losses, leaving them in tenth place out of the 12 teams. They were able to end the season with a win after four consecutive losses.

Cobham said he felt honoured when asked to take up the challenge. (DG)
