St Philip shooting

Police are conducting investigations into a shooting incident, which occurred about 4:30 a.m on Friday 20th October 2023 at Windward, St. Philip.

Police at District ‘C’ Station received a report about 4:48 a.m that a man was injured as a result of a shooting incident, which occurred in the area of King George V Memorial Park.

Investigations revealed that whilst walking in the said area, he was approached by a male who shot him and ran away. The injured party ran to Congo Road, where he received assistance and was subsequently transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by Ambulance personnel.

Anyone who can provide any information that can assist with these investigations is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Department (Southern Division) at 418-2609, District ‘C’ Police Station at 416-8200, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest Police Station.
